| Market Update Reported recently by the Toronto Real Estate Board, many home buyers that seem to have been undecided about purchasing a home through the winter months are now proceeding to purchase with confidence as a result of the GTA housing market's affordability. This is very noticeable in the Durham marketplace, long know to be the "best bang for your buck" when buying an affordable home. Many home styles available in Durham are considerably lower than other areas of the GTA. Home sales are being boosted by the best mortgage rates available in Canada. "The Sutton Member Program" is continuing to produce unbeatable interest rates. It is interesting that of 28,000 members of the Toronto Real Estate Board there are only approximately 2,400 Sales Representatives in all of Ontario that can offer these rates. Check with your Sales Representative to see what rates they can offer. With increasing confidence in the economy, great interest rates and great housing prices our housing market has started to show signs of recovery. We feel the coming months will be the best time to purchase a home or an investment property in years.
